Reflection on English for journalism

 Modal 1

In this Modal i learn about the history of journalism . In the early history of journalism governments wanted to control  the information that people received. Now journalism become more independent and the free from the government  control.  For most of the 18th century government still controlled what people wrote . Over hundreds of years the government have tried to control the news but because of the new technology people can get their news from many different places.In this lesson i learn the principle that are important for journalist to remember when they are gathering sources or collecting information for their stories. A journalist should determine which information is based in fact and present accurate information from all sides a journalist should not give equal time or weight to an opinion based on facts that are clearly not true. This lesson is very helpful for understanding about journalism .

Modal 2

In this modal  i learned some new thing about journalism first we discuss topic choosing . A topic choosing is a subject or an issue for a journalist every journalist need to choose a good topic for their audience you know who your audience is but how do you know what is  interesting for your audience so a journalist need to choose a story audience should be interesting for example we can see different stories on social media if a story is interested then the journalist getting alot of audience feedback so journalist need to choose a good topic for their audience. Once journalist decide what type of story they are writing the need to decide who to interview and what document will provide the best information 
Journalist usually work as a team and the head of the team is editor the editor make the final decision on what will appear in a newspaper and magazine . This lesson is very interesting for those who have interest in journalism 

Modal 3

In this lesson i learn writing skills for journalism . First every journalist write a story in ruff then journalist choose the best sentence from the ruff writing for the story which is presenting in front of audience . Before an article is printed journalist must complete three step in the writing process  creating an outline ,writing a draft mean ruff , getting approval from a copy editor these must checked before the print the article . and article should include a headline , a byline , lead , a body , and a conclusion  and captions should be written to a accompany any images graps or maps   before print a article its important to check everything carefully .This whole lesson is is about the writing article what should be include in article whats thing should add in article that interact people journalist write the article story in interesting way mostly journalist write the article in AP style  . This lesson is very helpful for journalism 

Modal 4

In this lesson we discuss the broadcasting news . Broadcasting is the process for displaying the news this way broadcasting mean to use a video camera or microphone and sending that recording to television sets then set member edit the video and share the only news via  television and radio in all our world . The journalist who read the news in camera is called anchor he is the lead journalist of the news program then directer producer control room operator they all are performing their effort of broadcasting the news program . The journalist work in team the reporter gather the news form different places and on different topic the team decide one topic for discussion on program . journalist need to make sure using  short and simple sentence because the viewer get only one one chance to hear what the journalist are reporting they don't have opportunity to get back and hear again journalist also facing some challenges when they deliver the news on television nowadays audience have a lot of channel to choose when sitting down to watch the news on television . Each program of course want to have most viewer in this case journalist need to share the correct news with broadcasting . This lesson is very helpful for journalism
